Welcome to Steve’s 40th birthday celebration!
We who know Steve know how he loves lists and what an eclectic list of interests, people, places, and friends he cherishes. To celebrate his 40th birthday, Steve has posted four lists on his own blogs: A Taste of Forty, Forty Reads, Forty Flicks, and The Class of ‘67. As with this celebration, there may be more of those to come.

I'm still working through these lists and suspect I will continue to do so over the course of the next week or two, but what I've read so far has proved to be both funny and educational (and occasionally dubious). I hope that if any of you still have a half-finished, half-baked or sketchily conceived list or two kicking around in your attic, you won't hesistate to send them in. I assure you that this blogspace (which I've been given the keys to) will give it a warm and loving home.
