These are great faces, so full of character and wisdom. I'll bet some of these people are quite young, though. What in the world is the last picture? It makes me laugh.

This blog space (and my ability to manipulate it) doesn't do these striking photos the justice they deserve. It is easier to appreciate their artistic qualities in the Word file Gene and Jennifer e-mailed the blog's curators, where they appear larger than they do here (I'm glad to have it). Maybe in the future, I will learn how to amplify the iamges on the blog. In the meantime, though, I am glad to have them here if only in this place-saver format.

Thanks, too, for adding the Richardson family portraits there at the end! Not sure I recognize that last handsome fellow on the bottom on the right below Nancy and Haley, though. Which Richardson is that?

Carolyn, the last picture is a National Geographic representation of a futuristic hog. When I saw it I thought, "Dang, that is just like me when I've had too much fire water!" I just had to put it in because I like it so much. Actually I also used it with a short story about three good ole boys going out night hunting.

Steve, what a wonderful blogg site and a fitting way to come out of the "half time" dressing room to begin your "second half." Have a good game and remember what happens when the buzzer buzzes, for it tolls for you.

Unless the score is tied and we go into overtime, in which case, I want to know if this is the college game or the pro game, because overtime in the pro game has a time limit, but in the college game it can, in theory, go on and on, right? I know it took Arkansas SEVEN overtimes to beat Mississippi, 58-56, back on November 3, 2001.
